I save all my Christmas cards thinking I might figure out a good way to make new cards out of them but I haven't yet firgured it out.

I think it was Tightwad Gazette that suggested cutting off the fronts of the cards and sending them as postcards with your message written on the back. Saves on postage, too.

I bought at a local outlet store wedding invitation type paper pretty heavy card stock I guess....but thank you note size. I got about 50 blank cards and envelopes to match for about $3.00. So I simply cut off the design (of any card I really like) and cut to fit on the front of the plain white notecard and use tape on the underside. Stick it to the front and then I have a card! They look nice and expensive. Thrify cards for not much money. I have not bought a Hallmark card for many, many years!! The prices are outrageous!

That's a neat idea, Front Porch Mom.
