yay, congratulations to your daughter! i remember when i did not have my license and a lot of my friends did (here you can get them at age 17.5 and up - i think its different in the states?) i got left out of a lot of things because i had no way to get there. needless to say i realised who my real friends were thanks to getting my license a little later than most! i got mine on my second try.

Congrats to your daughter! It took me three times to pass mine. Smile (Thanks to parallel parking, and then not seeing a stop sign that was covered by a tree!)

    Congratulations...
will anybody here flip if I said my parents bought mine? (it was just "normal" to buy your license here in those days...not anymore! now you have to pass the test!....) In fact, you had to have a license if you wanted to learn how to drive, because otherwise the police would always stop you (if driving with your yellow flag signaling you as a student driver) and would demand money to let you go... Yep, I know... it's AWFUL!...
But, dad did make sure HE kept our licenses on him until we learned... (which basically we could only touch the car if he was with us...)
